Tree Zines for Teens – City of Forest Day

Creative nature walk through McGolrick Park.Together, we’ll explore the park, learn to identify common NYC trees, and create our own zines along the way. We'll meet at the entrance of Nassau Avenue and Russell Street, and the rain date is Saturday, October 4th at noon.

Join this tour to compare miniaturized trees in BBG's Bonsai Museum to their full-size counterparts outside on the Garden grounds. With thoughtful pruning and daily care, almost any tree can be trained into a bonsai and grown indoors for your own home forest!Free with Brooklyn Botanic Garden admission (Community Tickets available daily in limited numbers).
