In celebration of City of Forest Day, Trees New York will host Author Marguerite Holloway to discuss her new book: Take to the Trees; a Story of Hope, Science, and Self-discovery in Americas Imperiled Forests. The event will take place on Thursday, October 2nd, from 6 - 7:30 pm. Presentation will be followed by a Q & A with the author.

Close out your City of Forest Day at the Celebrating Stewardship After-Party, hosted by Partnerships for Parks, City Parks Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, Natural Areas Conservancy, and NYC Parks. There will be food, music, TREEvia, prizes, and a special visit from the Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice to give updates on the city’s first Urban Forest Plan.
