Introducing Three Pillars Park
We’re adopting a new neighborhood garden space and we’d love for you to join us as we begin cleaning it up this Saturday — City of Forest Day!
We’ve felt a little like empty-nesters since moving out of our meanwhile garden space on Malcolm X (maybe you remember how lovely she was in her prime!?) and Three Pillars Park is filling us once again with that good good neighborhood garden feeling.
It’s gonna take time and elbow grease to clear the overgrowth — as well as some mosquito bravery (and maybe some overhead pigeon bravery!?) but we KNOW you’re up for it.
WHEN: Saturday, October 4, 10am-1pm
WHERE: Three Pillars Park, under the overpass at the corner of Greenwood Avenue and Prospect Avenue
Shoot us a DM if you know you’ll be there so we can make sure to have enough equipment! And if you’ve got garden gloves, a pruner, or other hand tools you love, bring ‘em! Also, we recommend long pants and/or bug spray…
Hope to see you at your new/future favorite neighborhood garden hangout spot…
