Reforestation Tour at Highbridge Park

Come tour native forest restorations in Highbridge Park with Forest Restoration Specialist, Ryan Lawrence. The walk will showcase a variety of NYRP’s native forest plantings from <1 to 7 years old. See various stages in the process of forest restoration, including plantings of both canopy trees and understory plants such as grasses, ferns, and wildflowers.
