From Canopy to Canvas: fostering an appreciation for urban forests through education and art

Join us for a tour to see stunning fall foliage and learn about Randall’s Island Park’s urban forest. Afterwards, attendees are invited to a watercolor landscape painting session within the shaded canopy of the White Garden along the banks of the East River. A great way to unwind and gain a deeper appreciation for the serenity and important ecosystem services our urban forest provides. Look for the parking lot by the Urban Farm and field #62.
