Volunteer with the NYC Parks Stewardship Team to plant trees in the forest of Cunningham Park! Trees provide so many benefits to New Yorkers such as improved air and water quality, reduced pollution, and lower energy costs. Volunteers will be trained in proper planting techniques. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Please bring your own reusable water bottles. Tools, gloves, sunblock, and bug spray will be provided. Space is limited and registration is required. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. This event has been funded in part by NYC Service.
